Chris Evitch, a Wisconsin native, was living in Papillion, Nebraska with his family. He, his wife Darleene, and their son Broc had made many trips to Wisconsin to visit family over the years. During those visits they always took the time to stop and visit cheese makers. Over the years they came to know many and learned an amazing amount of knowledge of cheeses! Many friends, family, neighbors would ask them to bring back fresh Wisconsin Cheeses from their visits. Once they had brought back over 22 bags of cheese! Chris wanted to be the first Cheese Haus in Nebraska. A little building became available in Papillion in 2014 and he told his wife that it was the perfect spot for a cheese haus and she agreed. From that year on they have spread the word of the crazy flavors of fresh Wisconsin cheese!
